From a holiday dream to a life’s work

In the 1970s, our first hotel under the name Rivoli was opened in Munich, a cosmopolitan but friendly city. During a trip to Paris, Edgar and Elfriede Sakkal, who were newly in love at the time, decided that they wanted to build a future together. They dreamed of their first hotel on the Rue de Rivoli, a street in Paris. From the beginning, the most important values were openness to people and a passion for service and hospitality. They created a hotel in which people from all over the world felt at home and called it – Rivoli.
After just a few years, the family-run Rivoli Hotel opened its second hotel in the west of Munich: the HOTEL IMPERIAL. Over the years, the hotel family has been expanded to include additional hotels: the 4-star design hotel Ambiance Rivoli in Munich and the 4-star resort hotel Oriental Rivoli in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

The highlights
of Pasing

Even though it’s not far by S-Bahn, you don’t have to go all the way to the center of Munich to experience Marienplatz or Viktualienplatz – they’re also in Pasing, right around the corner from the HOTEL IMPERIAL. The Munich district of Pasing has changed a lot in recent years – and has a lot to offer! We will be happy to give you tips on sights, beautiful cafés and restaurants at reception.
